What is PeerPause?

PeerPause is an iPhone screen time limit app that helps you block distracting apps and ask a trusted buddy before getting more time.

How is PeerPause different from Apple Screen Time?

Apple Screen Time lets you set limits. PeerPause adds accountability by routing extra time requests to a Time Buddy, so ignoring a limit is harder.

Can my friend see my screen time?

No. Your screen-time data stays on your device. Your buddy only sees the requests and approvals needed to help you stick to your limits.

What happens when I hit a limit?

PeerPause blocks the selected app. If you want more time, you send a request and your Time Buddy can approve or deny it.

Does PeerPause work with real iPhone app limits?

Yes. PeerPause uses Apple Screen Time APIs so you can choose real apps and categories to limit on your iPhone.

Who should I choose as my Time Buddy?

Choose someone you trust to respond honestly. A good Time Buddy is calm, reliable, and willing to say no when your limit should stay in place.

Can I change my limits later?

Yes. You can adjust your setup as your routine changes. PeerPause is meant to make limits easier to keep, not impossible to manage.

Does PeerPause sell my data?

No. PeerPause does not sell your data and does not show ads.
