PeerPause · For couples
Put your phones down, together
Each of you locks the apps that eat your evenings. When time’s up, you ask your partner, or a friend, for more.

Two people, two phones
Zero conversation
Telling your partner to put their phone down sounds like criticism. A limit you both chose earlier doesn’t.

Your partner, or a friend if you’d rather keep it out of the relationship. They tap accept or deny.
You choose who holds the key
Be each other’s buddy, or each pick a friend. Either way, it’s a lock you both agreed to.
It’s a lock, not a camera
Your buddy sees the app name, the time you asked for and your note. Never your messages, photos or what you do in an app.
Evenings back, without the nagging
Schedule the block for the hours you spend together, so nobody has to be the one who says it.

FAQs
Should my partner be my Time Buddy?
It works well if you both want it and agree on what a yes looks like first. If requests could turn into arguments about something else, pick a friend as your buddy instead.
Can my partner see what I do on my phone?
No. A Time Buddy sees the app name, how much time you asked for and your note. Not your messages, photos or what you do inside any app. Your Screen Time data stays on your iPhone.
Do we both need Pro?
Only the people who want limits on their own apps. Being someone’s Time Buddy is always free, so if just one of you wants limits, only that person needs Pro.
How much does PeerPause cost?
Being someone’s Time Buddy is always free. Setting your own app limits is Pro, a subscription through the App Store.
